Meet our MBA Program Chair

Dr. Samila Amanyraoufpoor is an international business scholar, educator, and academic leader with more than two decades of experience in higher education, business, and global engagement. Her career has been dedicated to advancing business education, developing future leaders, and fostering meaningful connections between academia, industry, and the global community.

Dr. Amanyraoufpoor earned her Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in International Business with a concentration in Global Marketing from Alliant International University. Her research interests include international business, global marketing, economic development, cross-cultural management, and emerging markets. Her scholarly work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and has examined topics ranging from women’s economic empowerment and international trade to political communication in post-conflict societies. She also serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Eastern European and Central Asian Research (JEECAR), contributing to the advancement of international business scholarship and academic excellence.

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Amanyraoufpoor has held faculty and leadership appointments at numerous institutions of higher education, including the California State University system, the University of California, Irvine, National University, and universities in the United States and abroad. She previously served as Department Chair of the MBA Program at Nobel University, where she led curriculum development, accreditation initiatives, faculty collaboration, student success efforts, and strategic program growth.

Prior to entering academia, Dr. Amanyraoufpoor held professional positions in marketing analysis, internal auditing, telecommunications, and technology sectors, including roles with Verizon Wireless and Ingram Micro. Her industry experience enriches her approach to business education by connecting academic theory with real-world practice and contemporary global challenges.
